ASTRONAUT CHARLES M. DUKE JR. TYPED LETTER SIGNED

This autographed full page typed letter by Apollo 16 Astronaut Charles Duke is a fascinating piece of history. In it he states:
". . .The surface color was all shades of grey. The soil was very, very fine like powder. Everywhere we walked, we left a set of footprints. . . Originally a form letter used by Mr. Duke to answer questions received from his many fans. The salutation was personalized on a typewriter, along with the current date, and he signed it simply "Charlie". Dated April 20, 1982, Charlie speaks not only of his historic journey through space, but also of his conversion to Christianity, ". . .My walk on the moon lasted only three days, but this wonderful walk with the Lord Jesus will last forever. . .".
