Fossilized fish in calcerous (limestone) sediment from the
Cretaceous Period, estimated to be approximately 100 million
years old. The body is spindle shaped, covered with small
rhomboidal scales. The skull is pointed, and the lower jaw is
long and upwardly inclined with a single row of small teeth. A
beautiful fossil preserved in three dimensions. Found in Brazil.
