A small state seal with a hand pointing to the top. The front is signed by John Mackey in red ink while the back is blank; cancelled. The notes, totalling 60,000 were printed on two different paper colors, white and more commonly blue. The British captured 160 sheets from Samuel Bishop in New Haven
